Our Team

The partners and senior advisors of HAP combine a deep expertise in mergers & acquisitions, private equity and business valuations, and industry experience.

Michael Guthammar, Partner
Mr. Guthammar has more than 20 years of experience with corporate finance, business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital. He has advised clients on many transactions and projects in North America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Guthammar gained a significant part of his experience at the merchant banking arm of Credit Agricole, major European bank, and was subsequently a partner at a boutique cross-border mergers & acquisitions firm before founding Windeye Partners.
Mr. Guthammar received an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of the Stockholm School of Economics. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a member of the U.S. National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), one of the leading standard and certification organizations for business and intellectual property valuations. Eric Feuillatte, Partner
Mr. Feuillatte has more than 20 years of experience from advising companies on acquisitions, divestitures and market entry. In 1989 he founded Etradex Corp., a leading cross-border M&A and business development firm which manages cross-border M&A mandates in collaboration with the investment banking departments of mid-sized European banks, European private equity investors, as well as independent European M&A professionals. Mr. Feuillatte previously spent fourteen years in management and sales and marketing positions for a leading European consumer products company with operations in Europe and the U.S.

Lawrence Yowei Yu, Senior Advisor
Mr. Yu is an experienced advisor for M&A and capital raising transactions in China. He is the founder and CEO of China Concord Advisors, a boutique investment bank, focusing on the minority equity funding and M&A for fast growing private companies in China. Mr. Yu began his career as an M&A banker with Goldman Sachs Asia M&A Advisory Group and participated in M&A deals involving regional telecom operators and communication technology companies in Asia Pacific. He also worked in AIG’s Private Equity Division and led the execution of some of their most important direct investment deals in China. Later he worked at HSBC Asia Pacific’s In-House M&A Department, initiating and closing HSBC’s three most significant acquisitions in Asia. Mr. Yu received an MBA degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

May Wang, Senior Advisor
Ms. Wang is currently responsible for business development at a leading distributor of laboratory consumables and instruments in China. She previously spent more than ten years in accounting and finance with Iron Mountain, the J. Jill Group and other firms in United States. Ms. Wang received an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Boston, a B.S. in Accounting from Northeastern University, and an A.S. in Management from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. A native Mandarin speaker she also speaks fluent English.
